Every part of the Church carries a vital share of Christ’s mission
About Victorian Anglicans Together
We seek to make sure that ordinary people throughout our society can access the Good News and that their concerns and diversity are honoured.
We advocate for a Church that is open, diverse and inclusive, one that is tolerant and welcoming.
We encourage our leaders and institutions to uphold orthodox teaching and practice set forth in the Creeds and to be mission-minded in reaching our own culture with the Good News about Jesus.
We value the importance of, and seek to enable diocesan and Anglican church governance structures including Synod and Archbishop in Council
We believe in the power of Word and Sacrament to transform lives.
We advocate for effective church governance which responds to the demands of today but is consistent with the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.
We uphold that contemporary Anglicanism is underpinned by the Chicago-Lambeth Quadrilateral.
The Holy Scriptures
The creeds
The sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion
